I&#8217;m beginning to suspect that it&#8217;s too late for tinkering\u00a0\u00a0around the edges. New policy statements from Rome, and new peace initiatives\u00a0\u00a0from the failed leaders of political entities that are at war with each other\u00a0\u00a0around the world may not be sufficient to address, let alone solve, the problems\u00a0\u00a0that confront us.
