The Online King James Version of the Bible
Computer Updated for Today
Many people prefer the King James Version of the Bible to a more contemporary translation such as the New Revised Standard Version because of the familiarity or the poetry of the KJV, or both. Still, some of the language is archaic. If you are one of those who appreciates the King James English, but are looking for a revision that brings it up to date simply in terms of contemporary usage, this revision may be for you. It is not a new translation, but a computer generated update, giving the venerable translation a contemporary feel that you may find refreshing.

You may use the index below to go directly to a particular book of the Bible, or you may use the Google search engine to look for particular words of phrases.
