Easter: They’re Celebrating on the first Sunday in May …. did they get caught in a time warp?
If you happen to see people dressed in Easter finery, headed off to church on Sunday, May 2nd, several weeks after you thought Easter had passed, please don’t think they’ve lost their sense of time. When we adopted two kids from Russia we opted to start celebrating two Christmases but drew the line at two Easters. It seems a bit much to observe Jesus dying and rising twice within the span of a week.
